American Red Cross Winter Disaster Training Schedule
Location: American Red Cross in the Finger Lakes, 83 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls

• Wednesday—March 7, 2007 and Wednesday, March 14, 2007—6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
  Client Casework: Providing Emergency Assistance - This course teaches volunteers how to interview and issue assistance to disaster clients. This course is a requirement for all DAT members—Pre-requisites—Introduction to Disaster, Mass Care and Shelter Operations
• Saturday—March 17, 2007—9:00 AM at American Red Cross in the Finger Lakes
  Disaster Assessment—Disaster Assessment volunteers are typically the first to respond to an emergency. This course teaches potential Disaster Assessment volunteers how to assess, analyze and disseminate information, which will help Operations Management officials make crucial, early decisions.

April 19 -First Aid Class 9am - 12
The Class will be held at the Red Cross Office, 121 East Elm St., Penn Yan. Cost $30.

May 29 - June 1 Aquatics Camp at Keuka College - A series of courses perfect for individuals planning to work at swimming pools, recreation programs or summer camps. Course fees cover materials and instruction. Room and board recommended but optional.

June 8th Annual Triathlon at Keuka College - Over 350 triathletes are here for the weekend and compete on Sunday. We need lots of volunteers. It starts early at 5:30 am depending on your job and is all wrapped up by 1:00pm after lunch. Click here for a brochure
