Each year, more than one million Americans work with the Red Cross as volunteers serving local community needs. Red Cross volunteers, your neighbors, provide a broad array of services to people in need in Yates County.

Red Cross volunteers perform such critical services as helping victims of fires and other disasters; providing lifesaving training in CPR and water safety; and educating our communities on how to prevent an/or be better prepared for disasters. Others help the organization with office work, event planning, and much, much more. Volunteers are a part of everything we do, and there's a volunteer opportunity for everyone.

Red Cross volunteers come from all walks of life. Young, old, and in-between, everyone has something special to offer...including you. Neighbor helping neighbor is the core the Red Cross.

Your local Yates County Chapter of the American Red Cross can work with you to provide rewarding experiences and opportunities to utilize your talents, as well as training to help you serve your community.
